RV shows can be a great way to save money, but you have to have some idea about RV prices. Here we have listed some of the pricing from the 2022 Hershey RV show. There are some models that did not display the MSRP, only the sales price. This seems to be due to a dealership decision with the pricing labels.

Resorts, State Parks or Boondocking? Which is Better?

We are now over one year into RV living, (though it is just part time). So far, we have been to one place that I would consider a resort and have also boondocked. Mostly, we go to state parks in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Pennsylvania. I think we now know where we prefer to camp, and that’s definitely state parks. Let’s take a closer look at each one.

State Parks

State Park

State parks are our favorite places to stay because of the trees, trails, boating and other activities that are available in one place. They can’t be beat if … Read More

RV Show! Is it worth the Time and Money?

When we purchased our motorhome in 2020, little did we know then, that we would start attending RV shows! We just got into the RV lifestyle, and we knew so little about camping in one, that every outing we ended up learning something new. Somewhere along the way, we found out that there were large shows with hundreds of RVs in one place, and we knew that we had to go.

Our first experience was at the 2021 Hershey RV show, which they call the World’s Largest RV Show. It was quite an experience! We have never seen so many … Read More

Observations from Our First Year.

We have been RVing for one year now! Time really flies, and so do the miles! We now have over eleven thousand miles on our rig, and it has been great for the most part. It’s all great, except when it’s not.

Now I’m not complaining here, I just wanted to talk about some of the unexpected things that, as newbies, we have discovered in our travels. This is a … Read More

Are You Asking Yourself, RV now or wait?

Dive right in now?

The first question we asked ourselves when we started thinking about getting into RVing was do this now or wait? This is a huge question. It doesn’t just refer to buying an RV, it leads to many other questions. Do we have time to travel? Will we like doing this? Can we handle the responsibility of caring for this vehicle? Where will we keep it? How much will all of this cost us? There’s really a lot of thought that goes into this decision.

I think I’ll wait…

I will say that waiting does have it’s … Read More
